BULL TRIBUTE, 2009

Series of sculptures made of bull or cow skulls, manipulated with mixed media (cloth, feathers, metal, stones, leather etc.)

The series also features 20 drawings, two outdoor sculptures and a lamp. Bull Tribute is an homage to the significance of the bull in the Mediterranean tradition with all the controversies that this entails.

No animal has been killed with the purpose of being used for the creation of the artwork presented here. All sculptures have been made from animal remains found in the wild or received from third parties
